Lightspeed & Quantum Studios Groupis one of the four major studio groups of IEG (Interactive Entertainment Business Group) under Tencent Games in Shenzhen, Guangdong Province, China. The studio was established in 2008. The group consists of Xiaoyaoyou Studio, Happy Game Studio, Tianji Zhiqu Studio, Lightspeed Studio, Tianxing Studio, and Quantum Studio. In 2014, Tencent Interactive Entertainment (IEG) adjusted its organizational system and merged Lightspeed Studio and Quantum Studio into this studio. [1] In July 2020, Tencent announced the opening of a new game studio LightSpeed LA in California, USA, which will focus on the production of large-scale 3A games. The studio is Tencent’s first overseas game development studio. The studio belongs to the photon studio group.
